We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and it is the foundation of our values, purpose, and actions. God’s Word, combined with the love of Christ Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, render a transformative change that people simply cannot achieve on their own. A purely clinical approach may help you heal and survive, but the power of God’s love will help you rise from pain, soar above it, and reach your full potential.
Our Mission
Beyond Survival Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to ministering to the needs of countless men, women and families by restoring hope and transforming lives not only in our local community, but also across the United States, and abroad.
Our History
From the humble beginnings of a home Bible study in the 1970s, Founder Rev. Sue Willis sensed the call of God on her life to establish Touching the Hem of His Garment Ministries, Inc.™ – later to be known as Abundant Life Ministry Center.
In 1994, the first monthly fellowship meeting was launched; complete with worship, teachings from the Word of God and prayer ministry. Many women were brought to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and received Him as their personal Lord and Savior — lives were transformed!
Our Present and Our Future
Today, Beyond Survival Ministries Inc. is international in scope.
We address many of life’s challenging issues through professional Christian counseling, coaching, small group ministries, outreaches, conferences, retreats, workshops, leader trainings and now the Beyond Survival Ministries Podcast.
From a home Bible study to Beyond Survival Ministries’ outstanding Advisory Board, Executive Leadership team, and growing volunteer staff, it’s amazing to see all that God has done! In the midst of continued growth and development, our focus still remains on serving God and His people.
